The Alert SacRT Safety and Security App is a valuable tool for riders, providing a convenient and discreet way to report safety and security concerns directly to RT Police. With features such as photo and video uploads, text descriptions, and location tagging, users can easily provide detailed information about suspicious people or activities.

From the user-friendly home screen, there are two simple options for contacting RT Police:

<ol>
 <li>The "Report an Issue" button allows users to send text or photos directly to RT. To ensure privacy, the app disables the camera flash when photos are taken. Users can also choose to report anonymously and select specific locations and categories to assist RT Police.</li>
 <li>The "Call RT Police" button provides a direct connection to RT Police for immediate assistance.</li>
</ol>

One of the impressive functionalities of the app is its ability to operate reliably even in areas with weak signal strength. Reports sent from areas with no cellular or Wi-Fi connection are stored and automatically sent when connectivity is restored. Additionally, the app prioritizes sending text descriptions first to ensure that the police receive crucial information as quickly as possible.

Another notable feature of the Alert SacRT app is the BOLO (Be On the Look Out) Alerts. These alerts provided by RT Police notify app users about specific persons of interest, such as missing individuals or children. If you come across someone mentioned in a BOLO alert, it is essential to call 9-1-1 immediately while discreetly sending an app report to RT.

By utilizing the Alert SacRT Safety and Security App, riders can actively contribute to maintaining a safe environment on public transportation. Remember the motto: "See It - Hear It - Report It."
